       Today the children are the majority category in the society who is subject to different type of abuse and neglect,. A school going child has to face various pressure and stress due to the heavy educational syllabus. He does not get adequate rest. The nutrition level of the school going children is decreasing. They are not provided with exercise or healthy games will enable them to be confident. Some are facing mental stress. It might occur due to several reasons. A child belonging to an unhappy family where father or mother doesn't take proper care will gradually fall to the depression stage. Some children react to such condition with violent attitude. For them a psychological counseling will help to come out from this stage. Physical torture or sexual abuse from the family members makes the mental condition of a child in an imbalanced state. Present scenario on news brings out that people who are liable to look after a child abuses them in many ways. Girl children are subject to physical abuse and in most cases it is from the family members whom she is closely related to.

      Children who work as the servants live a pathetic life. They are not given enough food or clothing. Some people treat them as animals.  It is high time legal steps against these malpractices. There are child rights and protection laws but they remain only on the papers. Proper implementation is needed to restrain any illegal activities against children. In family parents should take extra care about their children in all aspects including their physical and mental activities. Keeping close connection with the children will help the parents to realize their problems. Then a solution is possible which helps the child to grow and face the world with confidence.
